Designing spend policies for non-deterministic software

Why agent payments need approval traces, not shared cards
Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for teams designing safe machine-initiated payments.
What is an agent wallet?
An isolated payment identity issued to one AI agent or workflow. It has its own credentials, balance rules, limits and lifecycle, so access can be changed or revoked without exposing your treasury account.
Does Finova let an agent spend without oversight?
Only within policies you define. High-risk, novel or out-of-policy requests can be blocked or routed to a human approver before authorization.
Which payment rails are supported?
The platform is designed around cards, bank transfers and programmable settlement. Availability depends on entity, region, currency and compliance review.
How are payment decisions audited?
Every request records agent identity, policy version, decision reason, approver and settlement state. Events can be streamed to your data warehouse or security tooling.
Is this a production banking service?
This site demonstrates the Finova Rails product concept. Production money movement would require regulated partners, security review and region-specific onboarding before activation.
Can one company operate many agent wallets?
Yes. Wallets can be grouped by product, customer, team or workflow, with inherited policies and separate reporting.
